CHILE

Chile – a country that we spent the most time in during  our yearlong honeymoon and therefore became really attached to it! We stayed in the capital, Santiago, for quite some time, and every time we returned there, it almost felt like coming home. We also bought our own tiny house on wheels in Chile, a van that we named Pisco.

We drove around the whole country – all the way down to Chilean Tierra del Fuego and the world-famous Torres del Paine National Park, and back up along out-of-this-world Carretera Austral in the south; we zig-zagged around the Pacific coasts, vineyards, lakes, and German-looking villages; we crossed the Andes several times and even went to skiing; we marveled at the deserts of the north and slept at the countless sandy beaches with million-dollar views. And Easter Island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean was the cherry on the top of the cake!

4 months is a lot, but it still didn’t feel like enough for this amazing country!

Check out our articles and vlogs about Chile and keep coming back for more – new ones are on the way as it’s still so much to be told about Chile. 🙂
