Meet us

We are Sandra & Bojan, quirky vagabonds usually found in the company of two furry members of the pack, Nano & Nui.

Life is too short for “what ifs“, which is why we packed our bags and embarked on a year-long honeymoon adventure in 2019. From hiking volcanoes in Central America and exploring South America in a van to diving in Easter Island to road-tripping in New Zealand and treating ourselves to a “real honeymoon” in Bali, this truly was an unforgettable year.

Nowadays we continue to explore our BlueMarble one adventure at a time – we often hit the road in our self-converted 4×4 Sprinter van, Loki, but we still love to hop on a plane and visit faraway places to fully immerse ourselves in the local culture (and all the amazing food).

I (Sandra) am the creative mastermind behind the blog and social media channels, as well as the owner of Sandra S. Media , a business specializing in Pinterest and Content Marketing. I am a lover of all things travel (duh!), dogs, avocado toasts, sunrise yoga, skiing, sunset wine dates, and long summers. Bojan, on the other hand, is the behind-the-scenes helping hand and tech wiz who takes care of website maintenance. He’s a fan of mountain biking, skiing, craft beer, and all kinds of outdoor adventures.

BlueMarble Vagabonds’ mission is to inspire our readers and followers to shake up their travel routine with unique experiences and off-the-beaten path places and to follow their wildest travel dreams.

While the blog is focused on long-form informational content, we don’t give the readers just plain facts – our goal is to infuse their wanderlust and help them plan their travels with the right dose of no-fluff advice, humor and witty travel stories.
