So, you have decided to go on a trip around South America and have realized that buying a car gives you freedom to explore all the corners of this amazing continent? Awesome! Welcome, future overlander 😉 Most of the travelers buy their cars either in Chile (and work their way up) or in Colombia. Suzi Santiago – a company that helps travelers find a car, obtain a RUT, helps with mechanic checks, upgrading a vehicle, getting international insurance, selling your car (in Chile or also in other countries!)
Servicio de Impuestos Internos (SII) – where you get a form for a RUT number (no. F4415.1.)
